On September 4, 2026, the opening day of IFA Berlin, the IFA Innovation Awards 2026 were presented on the Innovation Stage at CityCube. As an accredited journalist and analyst, I was there live as an international jury of tech journalists and industry analysts honored the best products across a total of 13 categories, from Communications & Connectivity to Design to Tech for Accessibility.
This article presents the winning products for which category, product details, and image material could be researched. Each product gets its own chapter with a brief overview, its key advantages in bullet points, and an image concept. Wherever the official, complete winners list did not yet yield reliable additional information, this is stated openly in the respective chapter, rather than guessing categories or features.

This exact range makes the ceremony a good gauge of where consumer tech is currently heading, from camera-free AI glasses to self-flying cameras to robotics for everyday life.

In the Best in Communications & Connectivity category, MemoMind One stood out, the first AI glasses from the new brand MemoMind, founded by projector maker XGIMI. Unlike many competing products, the glasses deliberately do without a camera and instead rely on two micro-LED displays that project content directly into the field of view.

Even G2 Smart Glasses, the Second Generation
Also honored in the Best in Communications & Connectivity category were the Even G2 Smart Glasses from Even Realities, the second generation of the manufacturer’s display glasses. They target people who spend a lot of time in meetings, giving presentations, or moving through multilingual environments, again without a camera or a speaker.

HOVERAir, the Camera Without a Pilot
In the Best in Content Creation category, HOVERAir from manufacturer Zero Zero Robotics was honored. The brand helped establish the category of controller-free, self-flying cameras and is expanding it in 2026 with new models, including the waterproof HOVERAir AQUA and the modular HOVERAir VERSA, which converts between a handheld gimbal and a flying camera.

Insta360 Luna Ultra, a Camera With Leica Optics
Also honored in the Best in Content Creation category was the Insta360 Luna Ultra, a gimbal camera co-developed with Leica for professional mobile filmmaking needs. The camera positions itself as a direct competitor to DJI’s Osmo Pocket line, but brings a dual-lens system that has so far been rare in compact gimbal cameras.[5]

The third winner in the Best in Content Creation category is the PrimeBOT T1 from manufacturer PrimeBOT, a company within the Swancor group. The T1 is regarded as the world’s first transformable personal robot for consumers and autonomously switches, via a shared perception and control architecture, between a bipedal gait for indoors and a quadrupedal gait for outdoors.

Bespoke AI WindFree Pro, Climate Technology as a Design Object
In the Best in Design category, Samsung’s Bespoke AI WindFree Pro wall-mounted air conditioner was honored, additionally receiving Honoree status in the Home Appliances category.[7] The unit combines a reduced, flat front with fine, precise openings intended to blend harmoniously into a variety of living spaces.

Also honored in the Best in Design category was the Arbrest COVE, a dynamic, ergonomic office chair from manufacturer Arbrest. According to the manufacturer, it is specifically tailored to female body proportions, such as hip width, pelvis shape, and spinal curvature, an area rarely addressed independently in classic office chair design.

Comet Q, One Cable Makes Any Device Remote-Controllable
Also honored in the Best in Tech for Accessibility category was the Comet Q (GL-RMQ1) from GL.iNet, described by the manufacturer as the world’s first USB-C remote KVM for smartphones, tablets, and laptops. Through a single USB-C cable and a web browser, a separate device can be fully remote-controlled, which also makes remote maintenance and operation of devices easier for people with limited mobility or vision.

In the Best in IFA Next & Emerging Tech category, the Lynx M20S from DEEP Robotics was honored, a wheel-legged hybrid robot for industrial inspection, security patrols, and firefighting operations. The Lynx series had already won the CES 2026 Innovation Award and the iF Design Award, and the M20S extends the lineup with significantly greater payload capacity.[13]

Alongside the individual product categories, the jury of the IFA Innovation Awards also presents the Best Brand Award, the ceremony’s top brand prize, which is not tied to a single product but honors the technological innovation strength, market impact, and design quality of an entire company. This year, the award went to LG Electronics, which received a total of seven product honors at the IFA Innovation Awards 2026.[16]
